At 21 MONEY IQ™ we believe that financial literacy development is an ongoing process that evolves as individuals mature and their understanding deepens. Building a solid foundation for a financially secure and responsible future begins in childhood.
We know from research that by the time learners reach middle school, they have developed the capacity to understand complex economic concepts, make financial judgements, and assign value to purchases and brands.
From an early age, children assign affect to money-related processes.
Feelings like fear, anxiety, frustration, or excitement
can many times direct financial decisions.
The 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum offers learners
an unbiased emotional approach toward understanding
basic financial literacy concepts that can help develop
a healthy relationship with money through generations.
If we believe we can do better, then we must believe that
our children can break the cycle of poverty through education
–through financial education that builds
transferable skills to support their literacy, math, citizenship,
and any academic or professional endeavors.
Join 21 MONEY IQ™ in securing access
to financial literacy development for every child!
The 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum is self-paced
and individualized to each student by grade level.
When enrollment begins in the 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum,
each student receives access to curricular online content
and color-printed grade-level student workbooks
to six consecutive grade levels:
3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade.
Because the 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum is self-paced
and individualized to each student by grade level, we trust
that each student will be able to decide when they are ready
to move forward to the next learning content. For example,
they could be in 4th grade and learning about 6th grade content,
having successfully completed each learning module in the
previous academic grade levels.
We will know the 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum is successful if:

In designing, developing, and producing the 21 MONEY IQ™ online curriculum, we developed technology-driven access to research-based and pedagogically appropriate student lessons and materials.
These are designed to promote life-long learning and skill development necessary to form a healthy relationship with money and the opportunity to develop generational wealth for each student, their families, and their communities.
The U.S. President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy writes: “financial illiteracy is not an issue unique to any one population or country. It affects everyone: men and women, young and old, across all racial and socioeconomic lines. No longer can we stand by and ignore this problem.”
Our personal, community, national, and global economic future depends on our ability to provide access to financial education to all, starting at a young age when values, habits, relationships, and life-long goals are being formed.
